Common issues
Step-by-step fixes for the most frequent problems. If none of these resolve your issue, contact support.
My stake has been “Activating” for a long time
This is normal. Stake activation takes until the end of the current Solana epoch, which can be up to ~2 days. Check the current epoch progress on Solana Beach to estimate when it will flip to Active.
If your stake has been Activating for more than 4 days, please contact support.
My passphrase isn't working
Double-check that you’re entering the correct passphrase — the one you chose when you created your account (not your login password).
If you’ve entered the wrong passphrase several times and your account is locked, check your email for a verification message. Complete the email verification to re-enable passphrase attempts.
If you’ve forgotten your passphrase entirely, you will need your recovery phrase. See Passphrase security for next steps.
I forgot my passphrase
Your passphrase cannot be reset — it is not stored by GrandmaStake. To access your wallet, you need your 12-word recovery phrase.
With your recovery phrase, you can import your wallet into GrandmaStake (when this feature is available) or directly into any Solana wallet such as Phantom or Solflare. Your SOL and stake accounts are on-chain and accessible with the correct private key regardless of which interface you use.
If you have lost both your passphrase and your recovery phrase, your funds cannot be recovered by anyone. This is a fundamental property of non-custodial wallets.
My transaction failed
Check the following:
- Insufficient balance: Staking requires a small SOL balance for the transaction fee (~$0.01) plus a rent reserve (~0.002 SOL). Make sure you have enough SOL in your wallet beyond the amount you want to stake.
- Network congestion: Occasionally the Solana network is congested and transactions fail. Try again after a minute or two.
- Wallet connection dropped:If you’re using a connected wallet, refresh the page and reconnect your wallet, then try again.
If the transaction is still failing, contact support with any transaction ID or error message shown on screen.
I can't log in
If you’ve forgotten your password, use the Forgot Password link on the login screen. A reset link will be sent to your registered email address.
If you’re not receiving the reset email, check your spam folder. If the problem persists, contact support.
My wallet connection keeps disconnecting
Browser extensions can sometimes lose their connection, particularly after the page has been open for a long time. Try:
- Refreshing the page and reconnecting your wallet.
- Updating your wallet extension to the latest version.
- Disabling other browser extensions that may interfere.
- Trying a different browser.
I don't see my stake in the dashboard
Dashboard data is fetched from the Solana blockchain. If you recently staked, wait a minute and refresh the page — it can take a moment for new transactions to propagate.
If you staked from a different wallet or device, make sure you’re logged into the correct account or have the correct wallet connected.
You can also verify your stake accounts directly on Solscan by searching your wallet address.
