Getting Started

Set up your account

GrandmaStake offers two ways to get started. Choose the path that fits you.

Create an account

No existing wallet required. GrandmaStake creates a Solana wallet for you and encrypts it with a passphrase you choose. You remain in full control — your passphrase is never sent to our servers.

1

Go to Get Started

Visit grandmastake.com and click Get Started.
2

Choose “Create Account”

Select the Create Account option on the next screen.
3

Enter your email and set a password

Your email is used for login and account recovery. Choose a strong password you’ll remember.
4

Choose your passphrase

Your passphrase is the key to your wallet — every transaction you make requires it. Choose something memorable but not guessable (avoid birthdays and sequential numbers).

Important: If you forget your passphrase, you will not be able to sign transactions. Your recovery phrase (next step) is the only way to regain access.

5

Save your recovery phrase

You’ll be shown a 12-word recovery phrase — your ultimate backup. This is the only time it will be displayed.

Write it on paper with a pen. Do not screenshot, photograph, type it into any app, or save it to cloud storage. Store the paper somewhere physically secure — a safe, a locked drawer, or a safety deposit box. Anyone who has these words has full access to your wallet.

6

Confirm you've saved the phrase

You’ll be asked to confirm a few words from your recovery phrase before proceeding. This ensures you’ve recorded it correctly.
7

You're on your dashboard

Your wallet is ready. You can now buy SOL with a debit card and stake it directly from the dashboard. See Staking to get your first stake set up.

Connect your wallet

Already have a Solana wallet? Connect it directly. GrandmaStake reads your public address to show your stake positions and submits transactions for your wallet to sign — your private key never leaves your device.

Supported wallets

  • Phantom
  • Solflare
  • Backpack
  • Ledger (hardware wallet)
1

Go to Get Started

Visit grandmastake.com and click Get Started.
2

Choose “I Have a Wallet”

Select I Have a Wallet on the next screen.
3

Select your wallet provider

Choose Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, or Ledger from the list. If you have multiple wallets installed, select the one you want to use.
4

Approve the connection in your wallet

Your wallet will show a connection request from GrandmaStake. Approve it. This only grants read access to your public address — it does not allow GrandmaStake to sign transactions on your behalf.
5

You're ready to stake

Your stake dashboard loads automatically. See Staking to delegate your first SOL.

Ledger users

Open the Solana app on your Ledger device before connecting. Ensure your Ledger firmware and Solana app are up to date. Blind signing must be enabled in the Solana app settings for transaction approval.
