Managing Your Stake
Unstaking and withdrawing
You can unstake and withdraw your SOL at any time. The Solana network imposes a cooldown period before funds are available — GrandmaStake tracks this for you automatically.
Viewing your portfolio
The Portfolio section on your dashboard shows a real-time summary of your staked SOL, current rewards, and the total value of your position. Data is read directly from the Solana blockchain.
The Activity tab shows a timestamped history of every stake, unstake, reward credit, and transfer associated with your wallet.
Unstaking
Unstaking begins the cooldown process. During the cooldown, your SOL is not earning rewards and cannot be moved.
- Open your dashboard and go to the Unstake section.
- Enter the amount of SOL you want to unstake, or click Unstake All.
- Managed wallet users: Enter your passphrase to authorize the transaction. Connected wallet users: Approve the transaction in your wallet.
- The transaction is submitted to the Solana network. Your stake status changes to Deactivating.
Cooldown period: Approximately 2–4 days (one full Solana epoch). This is a Solana network requirement — GrandmaStake cannot shorten it. You will not earn rewards during this period.
Withdrawing
Once the cooldown is complete, your SOL becomes withdrawable. GrandmaStake notifies you when this happens.
- Open your dashboard and go to the Withdraw section.
- Confirm the amount to withdraw. It will be returned to your main wallet balance.
- Authorize with your passphrase or connected wallet.
- The SOL is returned to your wallet, typically within seconds.
A small rent reserve (~0.002 SOL) is held in each stake account while it exists on-chain. This is returned to you automatically when you close the account during withdrawal. It is not a GrandmaStake fee.
Automatic consolidation
If you stake multiple times, GrandmaStake automatically consolidates your stake positions when conditions allow. This keeps your dashboard clean and reduces the number of on-chain accounts you need to manage. No action is required on your part.
